Gracias a la acción rápida de la Policía Nacional, la Fundación Black and White Sound, pudo recuperar tres bicicletas de la Secretaría de Movilidad del Departamento Archipiélago que fueron hurtadas en días anteriores, cada una con sus cascos y que fueron detectadas rápidamente en un concurrido sector de la isla.

Ante estos acontecimientos, el Secretario de Movilidad, José Humphries Doria hizo un llamado a la comunidad residente y raizal de la isla a cuidar las bicicletas y a cumplir la reglamentación de préstamo del programa de bicicletas públicas Island Bike.

Así mismo invitó a los habitantes de San Andrés a participar en los Jueves de Pedal y la Ciclovía Dominical, actividades programadas por la secretaría para que todos disfruten de un ambiente sano, deportivo y amigable con el medio ambiente.

The Governor of the department, Ronald Housni, is inviting the community of the island to the concert for peace that will be held on Monday, 26 September at the Coral Palace square starting at 2:00 p.m.

As a symbol of integration and a gesture of support for the signing of the peace process that will take place in Cartagena, the Ministry of Culture has invited the capitals of each department to simultaneously do the same. The archipelago will be supporting this national event through the Secretariat of Culture, as recognition to the importance of building peace in Colombia.

Water and sanitation, healthy environment, climate change, air and noise and chemical safety are the issues that are being targeted by the present administration.

For this reason, delegates of the Ministry of Health, the Secretary of Public Services and Environment, the Secretary of Health, Coralina and other entities attended the Territorial Council of Environmental Health COTSA, for its conformation and creation of different technical working sessions.

The main objective of this Territorial Council of Environmental Health is to advance in an articulated way in each of the environmental issue to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of the archipelago.
